Quezon City Philippines Weather

Typhoon Phanfone battered the central Philippines on Monday, bringing a wet and miserable holiday season to millions of people.

The super typhoon swept across the eastern Philippines, tore power to several cities and triggered warnings of its likely path, including the capital, Manila, where the main airport was closed. Typhoon Molave, known in the Philippines as Qunita, was the latest storm to hit the nation, with catastrophic and even deadly effects on residents. It hit the northern island of Luzon on Monday, the third typhoon and fifth tropical cyclone to hit the Philippines in less than three weeks, the National Weather Service (NWS) said. Typhoon Saudel (known in the Philippines as Typhoon Pepito) is the first in a series of typhoons to hit the Philippines, Vietnam and southern China since October 2020.

The state weather agency predicts two to three more typhoons in November. Typhoon Kammuri, locally known as Typhoon Tisoy, is moving toward the Philippines and is forecast to hit land as a Category 3 hurricane. The dangerous Typhoon Goni, also known as "Rolly" in the Philippines, was moving north-west when it moved over the eastern Philippines on Monday, causing widespread damage as a typhoon. It weakened quickly to a tropical storm in the western Philippines Sea and then made landfall, the National Weather Service said.

Quezon City's weather can fluctuate slightly from year to year, but the data should not come as a surprise, according to the National Weather Service.

The best months to visit Manila are January and February, as it is the driest and hottest time of year. During the day, the sun hardly shines in Manila, in the afternoon and evening the weather is best, with frequent showers and thunderstorms. In areas of tropical climate where winter drought is evident, February and April and then January are the drier weather that is expected. January is not only the best month for weather, but also the driest and hottest. Quezon City does not get as much rain as other parts of Manila due to the dry climate.

If you want to go in July or August, you can prefer Mindanao, which is less rainy, generally protected from typhoons and therefore acceptable during this time. As mentioned earlier, the air can be a little cooler and the sea is not warm enough to swim in, even in the northernmost parts of the Philippines.

Temperatures are highest in the summer months (July, August, September, October, November and December), while December and February are slightly lower. The hottest months are in the winter months, with the highest temperature in July and August being 32 degrees Celsius.

The east coast, which faces the Philippine Sea, has an equatorial climate in rainy years, but so does the rest of the country. The sea is warm and from March to October evening thunderstorms bringing rain are common in the Philippines. Although it is possible to determine a dry season, which normally lasts from February to April, the climate is not defined as tropical, as it rarely rains in most protected areas.

Based on these values, the best time to visit Quezon City for hot weather activities is from late December to mid-March. The weather in Quezona City in January is based on statistics from last year. Based on these results, which are based on the weather data for the months of January, February, March, April and May, is a good time to visit Quezo City in late December and early April.

Due to the beach and pool values, the best time to visit Quezon City for hot weather activities is from late December to early April.
